1. ശമൂവേൽ 16:4

യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ശമൂവേൽ ചെയ്തു, ബേത്ത്ലേഹെമിൽ ചെന്നു; പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ അവന്റെ വരവിങ്കൽ വിറെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു: നിന്റെ വരവു ശുഭം തന്നേയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Beth-lehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
