તેણે કહ્યું,” હા સલાહશાંતિપૂર્વક; હું ઈશ્વરને યજ્ઞાર્પણ ચઢાવવાને આવ્યો છું. તમે પોતાને શુદ્ધ કરીને મારી સાથે યજ્ઞકાર્યમાં આવો.” અને તેણે યિશાઈ તથા તેના દીકરાઓને પવિત્ર કરીને તેઓને યજ્ઞકાર્યમાં બોલાવ્યા.

And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
