ПЕРВА КНИГА САМУЇЛОВА 15:22

І промовив Самуїл: Чи Господеві такі радощі з усепалень і з колених жертов, як із покори Господньому повелїнню? Нї, покора лучша за жертви, й послух дорожчий від баранячого товщу;

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
