และซามูเอลกล่าวว่า “พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงพอพระทัยในเครื่องเผาบู​ชา​ และเครื่องสัตวบูชามากเท่ากับการที่จะเชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์​หรือ​ ​ดู​​เถิด​ ​ที่​จะเชื่อฟั​งก​็​ดี​กว่าเครื่องสัตวบู​ชา​ และซึ่งจะสดับฟั​งก​็​ดี​กว่าไขมันของบรรดาแกะผู้

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
