సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా చెబుతున్నది ఏమిటంటే, ‘అమాలేకీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు చేసిన కీడు నాకు జ్ఞాపకం ఉంది. వారు ఐగుప్తు విడిచి రాగానే మార్గ మధ్యంలో అమాలేకీయులు వారిపైకి వచ్చి దాడి చేశారు కదా.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
