1 சாமுவேல் 15:6

சவுல் கேனியரை பார்த்து: நான் அமலேக்கியர்களோடு உங்களையும் அழிக்காதபடி, நீங்கள் அவர்கள் நடுவிலிருந்து விலகிப்போங்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்தபோது, நீங்கள் அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் தயைசெய்தீர்கள் என்றான்; அப்படியே கேனியர்கள் அமலேக்கியர்களின் நடுவிலிருந்து விலகிப்போனார்கள்.

¶ And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
