1 சாமுவேல் 15:15

அதற்குச் சவுல்: அமலேக்கியர்களிடத்திலிருந்து அவைகளைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; மக்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளில் நலமானவைகளை உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்குப் பலியிடும்படிக்குத் தப்பவைத்தார்கள்; மற்றவைகளை முற்றிலும் அழித்துப்போட்டோம் என்றான்.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
