Saul svarade: ”Jag har syndat. Visa mig nu ändå den äran inför de äldste i mitt folk och inför Israel att du går tillbaka tillsammans med mig, så att jag får tillbe Herren din Gud.”

Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.
