Första Samuelsboken 15:22

Då sade Samuel: ”Behagar det Herren med brännoffer och slaktoffer lika mycket som att man lyssnar till Herrens röst? Se, lydnad är bättre än offer och lyhördhet bättre än baggars fett,

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
