Första Samuelsboken 15:20

Saul svarade Samuel: ”Jag har ju lyssnat till Herrens röst och gått den väg som Herren har sänt mig på. Jag har fört hit Agag, Amaleks kung, och vigt amalekiterna åt förintelse.

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
