1 சாமுவேல் 14:45

மக்களோ சவுலை பார்த்து: இஸ்ரவேலிலே இந்தப் பெரிய இரட்சிப்பைச் செய்த யோனத்தான் கொலை செய்யப்படலாமா? அது கூடாது; அவனுடைய தலையில் இருக்கிற ஒரு முடியும் தரையிலே விழப்போகிறதில்லை என்று யெகோவாவுடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிட்டுச் சொல்லுகிறோம்; தேவன் துணை நிற்க அவன் இன்று காரியத்தை நடப்பித்தான் என்றார்கள்; அப்படியே யோனத்தான் சாகாதபடி, மக்கள் அவனைத் தப்புவித்தார்கள்.

And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
