Första Samuelsboken 14:34

Sedan sade Saul: ”Gå ut bland folket och säg till dem: Var och en ska föra hit sin oxe och sitt får till mig och slakta dem här och äta. Synda inte mot Herren genom att äta köttet med blodet i!” Under natten förde var och en bland folket själv fram sina oxar och slaktade dem där.

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.
