Toen sprak Saul: Laat ons vannacht de Filistijnen achtervolgen en ze uitplunderen tot de morgen aanlicht, zonder iemand van hen te sparen. Men antwoordde: Doe wat u goeddunkt! Maar de priester zeide: We moeten ons eerst hier tot God wenden.
