യോനാഥാൻ തന്റെ ആയുധവാഹകനായ ബാല്യക്കാരനോടു: വരിക, നമുക്കു ഈ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ പട്ടാളത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ചെല്ലാം; പക്ഷെ യഹോവ നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; അധികംകൊണ്ടോ അല്പംകൊണ്ടോ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ യഹോവെക്കു പ്രായസമില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
