I SAMUELE 14:45

Ma il popolo disse a Saulle: Gionatan, che ha fatta questa gran liberazione in Israele, morrebbe egli? tolga Iddio che ciò avvenga. Come il Signore vive, non gli caderà pur un capello di testa in terra; perciocchè egli ha operato oggi con l'aiuto di Dio. Il popolo adunque riscosse Gionatan, sì che non morì.

And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
