શાઉલે ઈશ્વર પાસે સલાહ માગી, “શું હું પલિસ્તીઓની પાછળ પડું? શું તમે તેઓને ઇઝરાયલના હાથમાં સોંપશો?” પણ ઈશ્વરે તે દિવસે કંઈ ઉત્તર આપ્યો નહિ.
