ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు భయపడుతూ తామంతా ప్రాణాపాయంలో పడిపోయినట్టు గ్రహించి కొండ గుహల్లో, పొదల్లో, బండసందుల్లో, ఉన్నత స్థలాల్లో, సొరంగాల్లో దాక్కున్నారు.
