1 Samuel 13:13

Samuel sa till Saul: ”Du har handlat dåraktigt [bara präster fick offra], du har inte hållit (vaktat, skyddat, bevarat) Herren (Jahvehs), din Guds (Elohims), befallningar (de tydliga budorden – hebr. mitzvot) som han befallt (hebr. tsavah) dig [5 Mos 20:8-9], för nu skulle Herren (Jahveh) ha befäst ditt kungarike över Israel för evigt.

And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
