1-Samuel 13:13

Samuël zeide tot Saul: Gij hebt dwaas gehandeld; gij hebt niet in acht genomen het gebod van de Here, uw God, dat Hij u geboden heeft, anders zou de Here uw koningschap over Israël voor altijd bevestigd hebben.

And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
