Maar nu zal uw koningschap geen stand houden. Jahweh zal Zich iemand naar zijn hart zoeken en hem tot vorst over zijn volk aanstellen, omdat ge niet onderhouden hebt, wat Jahweh u had bevolen. En Samuël stond op, vertrok uit Gilgal, en ging zijns weegs.
