എന്നാൽ ജനം ഉപദ്രവിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങൾ വിഷമത്തിലായി എന്നു യിസ്രായേല്യർ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ജനം ഗുഹകളിലും പള്ളക്കാടുകളിലും പാറകളിലും ഗഹ്വരങ്ങളിലും കുഴികളിലും ചെന്നു ഒളിച്ചു.

When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
