Vybral sobě tři tisíce z Izraele. I bylo jich s Saulem dva tisíce v Michmas a na hoře Bethel, a tisíc bylo s Jonatou v Gabaa Beniaminově; ostatek pak lidu rozpustil jednoho každého do příbytku jeho.
