ประชาชนทั้งปวงจึงขึ้นไปยังกิลกาล และที่นั่นเขาทั้งหลายก็ตั้งซาอูลเป็นกษัตริย์ต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ที่กิลกาล แล้วที่นั่นเขาทั้งหลายถวายสัตว์เป็นเครื่องสันติบูชาต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ ซาอูลกับประชาชนอิสราเอลทั้งปวงก็ชื่นชมยินดีอย่างยิ่งที่นั่น

And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.
