શાઉલ ખેતરમાંથી બળદોની પાછળ આવ્યો. શાઉલે કહ્યું, “લોકોની સાથે શું ખોટું બન્યું છે કે તેઓ રડે છે?” તેઓએ શાઉલને યાબેશના માણસોએ જે ધમકીનાં વચનો કહ્યા હતાં તે કહી સંભળાવ્યાં.
