तब सब लोग गिलगाल को चले, और वहाँ उन्होंने गिलगाल में यहोवा के सामने शाऊल को राजा बनाया11:15 शाऊल को राजा बनाया: शाऊल को दो बार राजा बनाया गया। एक बार रामाह में और दूसरी बार मिस्पा में।; और वहीं उन्होंने यहोवा को मेलबलि चढ़ाए; और वहीं शाऊल और सब इस्राएली लोगों ने अत्यन्त आनन्द मनाया।

And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.
