1 சாமுவேல் 10:19

நீங்களோ உங்களுடைய எல்லாத் தீங்குகளுக்கும் நெருக்கங்களுக்கும் உங்களை மீட்டு இரட்சித்த உங்கள் தேவனை இந்த நாளிலே புறக்கணித்து, ஒரு ராஜாவை எங்களுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தும் என்று அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டுக்கொண்டீர்கள்; இப்பொழுது யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக உங்கள் கோத்திரத்தின் படியும், வம்சங்களின்படியும் வந்து நில்லுங்கள் என்றான்.

And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.
