પિતરનો પહેલો પત્ર 5:5

એ જ પ્રમાણે જુવાનો, તમે વડીલોને આધીન થાઓ; અને તમે સઘળા એકબીજાને આધીન થઈને નમ્રતા ધારણ કરો, કેમ કે ઈશ્વર ગર્વિષ્ઠોની વિરુદ્ધ છે, પણ નમ્ર માણસોને કૃપા આપે છે.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
