യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയാതെ പിന്നീടും ദേശത്തു ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന അവരുടെ മക്കളെയും ശലോമോൻ ഊഴിയവേലക്കാരാക്കി; അവർ ഇന്നുവരെ അങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
