1 Kungaboken 8:36

och du hör (lyssnar) i himlarna och förlåter dina tjänares synd och ditt folk Israel, när du undervisar dem den goda vägen som de ska vandra, och sänder regn över landet som du har gett till ditt folk som ett arv.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.
