1-Koningen 8:30

Hoor dan naar de smeking van uw knecht en van uw volk Israël, die zij te dezer plaatse opzenden zullen. Ja, Gij zult het horen in de plaats uwer woning, in de hemel; en wanneer Gij het hoort, zult Gij vergiffenis schenken.

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.
