യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം യഹോവ അവരോടു നിയമം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ മോശെ ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ചു അതിൽ വെച്ചിരുന്ന രണ്ടു കല്പലകയല്ലാതെ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ മറ്റൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല;
