യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന താമ്ര യാഗപീഠം ഹോമയാഗം, ഭോജനയാഗം, സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സ് എന്നിവ കൊള്ളുന്നതിന്നു പോരാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു രാജാവു അന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു അവിടെ ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സും അർപ്പിച്ചു.
