I RE 8:53

Perciocchè tu li hai messi da parte, per tua eredità, d'infra tutti i popoli della terra, siccome tu ne parlasti per lo tuo servitore Mosè, quando tu traesti fuor di Egitto i padri nostri, o Signore Iddio.

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
