I RE 8:29

acciocchè gli occhi tuoi sieno aperti, notte e giorno verso questa Casa; verso il luogo del qual tu hai detto: Il mio Nome sarà quivi; per ascoltar l'orazione che il tuo servitore farà, volgendosi verso questo luogo.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
