Cioè: Dal giorno che io trassi fuor di Egitto il mio popolo Israele, io non ho scelta alcuna città d'infra tutte le tribù d'Israele, per edificarvi una Casa, nella quale il mio Nome dimorasse; ma io ho scelto Davide, per istabilirlo sopra il mio popolo Israele.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
