Seluruh bangunan itu, mulai dari fondasi sampai batas atap, juga tembok-tembok di sekeliling halaman besar istana, semuanya terbuat dari batu-batu yang mahal. Batu-batu itu dipotong dengan gergaji sesuai ukurannya, lalu semua sisinya diperhalus dengan pahat.
