నది (యూఫ్రటీసు) మొదలుకుని ఐగుప్తు సరిహద్దు వరకూ ఆ మధ్యలో ఉన్న రాజ్యాలన్నిటి మీదా ఫిలిష్తీయుల దేశమంతటి మీదా సొలొమోను అధికారం ఉంది. సొలొమోను బతికిన కాలమంతా ఆ ప్రజలు అతనికి పన్ను చెల్లిస్తూ, అణిగిమణిగి ఉన్నారు.

And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
