அதற்கு மற்ற பெண்: அப்படியல்ல, உயிரோடு இருக்கிறது என்னுடைய பிள்ளை, செத்தது உன்னுடைய பிள்ளை என்றாள். இவளோ: இல்லை, செத்தது உன்னுடைய பிள்ளை, உயிரோடு இருக்கிறது என்னுடைய பிள்ளை என்றாள்; இப்படி ராஜாவிற்கு முன்பாக வாதாடினார்கள்.

And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king.
