Zo ging de koning dan naar Gibon, om daar te offeren; want dat was de voornaamste offerhoogte. Nadat Salomon duizend brandoffers op het altaar te Gibon had opgedragen,

And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
