1. രാജാക്കന്മാർ 3:11

ദൈവം അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീ ദീർഘായുസ്സോ സമ്പത്തോ ശത്രുസംഹാരമോ ഒന്നും അപേക്ഷിക്കാതെ ന്യായപാലനത്തിന്നുള്ള വിവേകം എന്ന ഈ കാര്യം മാത്രം അപേക്ഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
