అప్పుడు హగ్గీతు కొడుకు అదోనీయా సొలొమోను తల్లి అయిన బత్షెబ దగ్గరికి వచ్చాడు. ఆమె “శాంతంగా వస్తున్నావా?” అని అతణ్ణి అడిగింది. అతడు “శాంతంగానే వస్తున్నాను” అని చెప్పి,

¶ And Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bath-sheba the mother of Solomon. And she said, Comest thou peaceably? And he said, Peaceably.
