ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ഒരു ചെറിയ കാര്യം അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ തള്ളിക്കളയരുതു എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു. രാജാവു അവളോടു: എന്റെ അമ്മേ, ചോദിച്ചാലും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അപേക്ഷ തള്ളുകയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.
