Sesudah itu, Salomo berkata kepada Imam Abiatar, “Kembalilah ke tempat tinggalmu di Anatot. Engkau layak dihukum mati. Tetapi saat ini saya tidak akan membunuhmu karena saya ingat bahwa selama ayah saya memerintah, engkau mengurus pengangkutan peti perjanjian TUHAN dan turut menderita bersamanya dalam segala kesulitan yang dia alami.”
