યહોશાફાટ તેના પિતૃઓ સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો અને તેને તેના પિતૃઓ સાથે દાઉદનગરમાં દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો. તેના પછી તેની જગ્યાએ તેનો પુત્ર યહોરામ રાજા બન્યો.
