அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய மனைவியாகிய யேசபேல் அவனை நோக்கி: நீர் இப்போது இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அரசாட்சிசெய்கிறவர் அல்லவா? நீர் எழுந்து சாப்பிட்டு மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இரும்; யெஸ்ரயேலனாகிய நாபோத்தின் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தை நான் உமக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொன்னாள்.
