എന്നാൽ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്‌വാൻ തന്നെത്താൻ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ ആഹാബിനെപ്പോലെ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ ഈസേബെൽ അവനെ അതിന്നായി ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
