જયારે આહાબે એ વચનો સાંભળ્યાં ત્યારે તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ફાડીને પોતાના શરીર પર શોકનાં વસ્ત્રો ધારણ કર્યા. અને ઉપવાસ કર્યો અને ખૂબ જ ઉદાસ બનીને શોકનાં વસ્ત્રો ઓઢીને તે તેમાં સૂઈ ગયો.
