แล้วผู้พยากรณ์ผู้นั้นได้เข้ามาใกล้กษัตริย์แห่งอิสราเอลทูลพระองค์ว่า “มาเถิด ขอเสริมกำลังของพระองค์ และตรึกตรองดูว่าพระองค์จะทรงกระทำประการใด เพราะสิ้นปีนี้กษัตริย์แห่งซีเรียจะยกกองทัพมาสู้กับพระองค์อีก”

¶ And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
