பின்பு அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவினிடம் வந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: நீர் போய் உம்மைப் பலப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு, நீர் செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்று கவனித்துப்பாரும்; அடுத்த வருடத்திலே சீரியாவின் ராஜா உமக்கு எதிராக வருவான் என்றான்.

¶ And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
