Första Kungaboken 20:42

Han sade till kungen: ”Så säger Herren: Därför att du släppte mannen som jag hade vigt åt förintelse ur din hand, ska det gå för dig som det skulle ha gått för honom, och ditt folk som det har gått hans folk.”

And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people.
